Phlox 'Captain Freedom' Garden Phlox is a perennial that brings bright white flowers and fragrance to the garden in large flower heads. Its upright growth reaches 40 to 48 inches tall, lifting the white blooms above lower plantings. Flowers appear from July through September, giving you a summer display that continues into early fall. Choose it when you want height, scent, and a clear white accent in a perennial planting.
Add this broadleaf phlox toward the back of a bed or border, where its tall growth and substantial flower heads can be seen. Plant it in a group to repeat the white color through a planting, leaving 20 to 24 inches between plants.
