Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Spinel' Coral Bells

Heuchera Fyre Wing™ 'Spinel' Coral Bells is a mounding perennial grown for dense, lacy foliage in purple bronze with hints of red and silver. This selection flowers sparingly, with white and yellow blooms in May and June, so the focus stays on its rich leaves. Plants form a 7 inch mound about 14 inches wide, with flowers reaching about 12 inches.

New for 2026 in the Terra Nova® Fyre Wing™ series, 'Spinel' is a strong choice for mixed containers, specimen plantings, and foliage contrast, and it adds winter color to the garden. Its wide, low mound fills space neatly at the front of a bed. In shade, pair it with astilbe, ferns, hostas, and hellebores. In sun, combine it with daylilies and ornamental grasses.

Plant in full sun to part shade in organic, well drained soil; clay or rocky soil also works when drainage is adequate. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged, then allow moderate drying once established. Avoid burying the crown at planting time. Hardy in Zones 4 to 9, 'Spinel' grows at a moderate rate and stays evergreen in warm regions and semi evergreen in cold climates. Dense purple bronze lace with red and silver highlights makes 'Spinel' a true foliage plant.
